Crosby – Pedestrian Accident on FM 1942

A girl was sent to a hospital after getting hit by a car on Farm to Market Road 194.
Based on the initial investigation, a girl, accompanied by her brother, was attempting to cross FM 1942 when they were struck by a passing vehicle. The impact of the crash left the girl with significant injuries. She was airlifted to a local hospital where she was listed in a serious condition. Her identification was withheld pending notification of her next of kin.
Authorities did not confirm if the brother also sustained injuries.
No words on the condition of the driver and whether or not he stayed at the scene.
The Crosby Police Department arrived at the scene to determine liability. An investigation is still in progress.
