Houston – Auto vs Pedestrian Crash on Gulf Freeway

Early morning, a pedestrian crash was reported on Gulf Freeway, according to a local news source.
At around 6:20 a.m., Houston local officers were dispatched at the 10200 block of the Gulf Freeway to assist in a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. According to the report, a person was crossing the roadway when he was hit by a passing red Ford Taurus. The force of the impact knocked the victim to the ground where he was then struck by a gray Ford Focus and a white Audi Q5 shortly after.
When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found the pedestrian lying on the ground, motionless. He was later pronounced deceased.
No identification has been released at this time.
Whether the drivers who struck the victims remained or fled the scene remains unclear at this time. The investigation is underway.
