Andrews County – Two Killed in Fatal SH 115

An overnight crash on State Highway 115 in Andrews County took the lives of two people, according to a local news source.
At around 10:50 p.m., local troopers were requested to assist in a collision on SH 115 near Farm to Market Road 181. A preliminary investigation indicates that a crew cab pickup truck and a dually pickup that was towing a gooseneck cargo trailer somehow collided with each other. Both vehicles ended up outside the roadway–one of them caught fire.
The force of the impact killed two people on scene. It was not yet determined if the victims were passengers or the drivers of both vehicles.
No other injuries were reported.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear at this time as the investigation is still in progress.
