Falls – Armand Ott Died in Truck vs Car Crash on Highway 7

Falls County law enforcement officials have released the name of the victim who died in a fatal car accident on Highway 7 near Marlin, Friday afternoon.
The fatality was identified as Armand Ott, 85.
According to the initial investigation, Ott was a passenger in a Toyota when it collided with a Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT) at the intersection of Highway 7 and Highway 320 last Septher 13th. The HEMTT was reportedly waiting for a green light at the said cross street when it made a left turn, hitting the passenger side of the Toyota. The aftermath of the collision seriously injured Ott. He was declared deceased on scene.
Both drivers of the involved motor vehicles were not injured.
Area investigators arrived at the scene to determine liability.
