San Antonio – Bicyclist Hit by Two Cars on WW White Rd

An auto versus bicycle accident on WW White Road caused the death of one person, Tuesday night.
Just before 9:30 p.m., San Antonio local troopers responded to South WW White Road to assist in a bicycle accident near Rigsby. A preliminary investigation indicates that a bicyclist was seen crossing the road from east to west when he was struck by a northbound vehicle. The bicyclist was thrown off his bike and landed on the southbound lanes where another car hit him.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was taken to a hospital with major injuries. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
No one else was injured.
Both drivers who struck the victim remained until authorities arrived at the scene. No arrests have been made, as per reports.
The San Antonio Police Department is leading the investigation.
