Austin – Single-Car Accident on Paleface Ranch Rd

A deadly solo vehicle accident on Paleface Ranch Road caused the death of one person in Spicewood, Monday evening.

In a tweet posted by Austin-Travis County EMS medics, the collision took place just before 8:30 p.m. along Paleface Ranch Road. Details surrounding the crash are very limited at this time but it was confirmed that an unidentified vehicle crashed into a fixed object, leaving its driver seriously injured. He was pronounced deceased by local paramedics who came to rescue. His identification was withheld pending notification of his immediate family.

The victim was the sole occupant, as per reports.

Emergency crews closed the area for some time to accommodate a police investigation. Anyone who has witnessed the accident or has relevant information about the incident should get in contact with the Austin Police Department.

The crash remains under investigation.
