Orange – Vehicle Accident on Highway 87 Leaves 2 Dead

At least two people were pronounced deceased following a fatal car accident on Highway 87 last August 23, Friday, according to a local news source.
Local troopers were dispatched to a parking lot at the 2300 block of Highway 87 in response to a collision involving a pickup truck. An initial investigation indicates that a 2004 Chevrolet, occupied by a newlywed couple, was pulling out of the parking lot when a passing 2015 Ford-250 pickup truck struck them.
The impact of the collision left the newlyweds with fatal injuries. They were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the pickup was not injured.
No identification has been released at this time.
Orange County local officials said that the victims just got married just a few moments before they got into the accident.
An investigation is underway.
