Fort Worth – Driver Killed in Tragic Bus Collision on Angle Avenue

Last Wednesday morning, a vehicle accident on Angle Avenue caused the death of one person, according to Tarrant County medical examiner’s website.

At around 5:00 a.m., Fort Worth local officials responded to Angle near Long Avenue to assist in a vehicle crash involving a Trinity Metro bus and a pickup truck. How the crash actually happened has yet to be released by police but they confirmed that the driver of the pickup truck was pronounced deceased at the scene. He was identified as Luis Daniel Hernandez, 60, of Fort Worth.

The driver of the bus and a passenger sustained undisclosed injuries. They were both taken to the nearest hospital where they received medical treatment. Their identification was withheld pending notification of their next of kin.

Local investigators will release additional information as the investigation progresses.
