Austin – Daryl Wayne Anderson Jr. ID’d Victim of Deadly Motorcycle Accident on East Howard Lane

Austin law enforcement officials have released the name of the motorcyclist who died in a fatal collision on East Howard Lane, Wednesday night.
The fatality was identified as Daryl Wayne Anderson Jr., 36.
According to reports, Anderson was heading east at the 7000 block of East Howard when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, he drifted off the roadway and flipped a number of times. Emergency crews transported Anderson to St. David’s Round Rock Medical center for treatment but he was declared deceased by EMS who performed CPR. Another victim, identified only as a man in his 30s, was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries. His condition remains unknown at this time. He was not immediately identified pending notification of his next of kin.
Based on a preliminary investigation, the motorcycle rider may have struck the inside curb which caused him to lost control of the bike.
