San Antonio – Auto vs Pedestrian Collision on Broadway Street Kills One Person

According to the release by San Antonio law enforcement officials, a woman died after getting struck by a vehicle on Broadway Street early Monday morning.
At around 5:30 a.m., local troopers were requested to assist in a fatal accident in the 8400 block of Broadway Street inside Loop 410. Police said that a woman was in the roadway when a passing 1997 white Ford F-150 pickup truck struck her. The female pedestrian, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene by the San Antonio Fire Department.
The driver of the pickup stopped and rendered aid to the victim. He was not injured.
There are no criminal charges pending at this time.
An investigation is being conducted by the San Antonio Police Department.
