Houston – Auto vs Pedestrian Accident on Maxey Rd

The Houston Police Department is conducting an investigation about an auto versus pedestrian collision on Maxey Road, according to a local news source.

At around 10:30 p.m., local troopers responded to Maxey near Church Road after being notified of a crash. Police said that a man who was either in late teens of early 20s was walking along the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle that was heading south. A moment after, he was then hit by two more vehicles, leaving him with serious injuries. Firefighters who witnessed the incident rushed to the victim for help, but the victim had succumbed to his injuries when they arrived.

Authorities said that one of the vehicles that struck the victim rendered assistance and stayed at the scene. It is not clear whether the two other cars stopped.

No charges are being filed at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
