Oldham County – 45-year-old Brandon Supple Died in Fatal Truck Crash on Interstate 40

Oldham County law enforcement officials have named the victim who died following a deadly car accident on Interstate 40 near Wildorado last Saturday.
The fatality was identified as 45-year-old Brandon Supple. He was a resident of Iowa.
According to initial reports, Supple was driving a pickup truck towing a trailer along the eastbound lanes of I-40. A semi-truck towing a semi-trailer was also heading east when it pulled over to the shoulder of the road, for yet unknown reasons. Supple was not able to slow down and struck the rear side of the semi-trailer. The impact of the collision left Supple with serious injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the semi and his passenger did not sustain injuries.
No citations have been issued as the investigation is still underway.
