Hopkins County – Kim Wayne Ogles Died in Motorcycle vs Car Crash on Highway 154

The Hopkins County Police Department has released the name of the victim who died after a motorcycle collided with a vehicle on Highway 154 last Thursday night.
According to local law enforcement officials, the fatality was identified as 48-year-old Kim Wayne Ogles of Sulphur Springs.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the incident took place near the intersection of Highway 154 and Farm to Market Road 1567. Further details surrounding the accident remain unclear at this time but it was confirmed that a passenger car crashed into a motorcycle. The impact of the collision killed the rider of the motorcycle, Kim Ogles. He was identified by Justice of the Peace B.J. Teer.
The driver of the car was not injured.
No citations have been issued as the crash remains under investigation by area authorities.
