Bellaire – Suspected DUI Crash on Bellaire Blvd Leaves 1 Injured

According to the Houston Police Department, a vehicle collision which took place on Bellaire Boulevard sent one person to a hospital last June 30.

Just after 1:00 a.m., local officials responded to the 5200 Bellaire Blvd after receiving a call reporting a crash. Based on a preliminary investigation, a vehicle was seen traveling along the roadway when, for yet unknown reasons, it went out of control and crashed. The impact of the crash was so great that it ejected the driver from the vehicle. He was immediately taken to an area hospital where he received proper medicat treatment. As per medical personnel, he sustained head injuries as a result of the crash.

Fortunately, no one else was injured.

Investigators arrived at the scene to determine circumstances leading up to the accident. Police believed that alcohol may have played a factor in the case.
