Dallas – Woman Struck and Killed by Car on North Buckner Boulevard

A pedestrian collision caused the death of one person on North Buckner Boulevard in Far East Dallas, Thursday evening.
At around 7:30 p.m., Dallas law enforcement officials received a call reporting a collision at the 2800 block of North Buckner Boulevard. According to initial reports, a blue Chrysler 300 was seen traveling along the northbound lane when it struck a female pedestrian that was crossing the street. Police said that the woman previously managed to avoid vehicles midway of the road.
Emergency crews pronounced the woman deceased at the scene. Her identification has not been released pending notification of her immediate family.
No citations have been issued as the investigation is still in progress. Anyone who has information about the crash should get in contact with the Dallas Police Department.
