Abilene – Bicycle Accident on South 1st St Leaves One Injured

At least one person suffered unknown injuries after a bicycle collision on South First Street in Abilene, last June 26.
According to initial reports, area authorities were dispatched on South 1st Street next to the old Lincoln Middle School building after they received a call reporting a crash. A rider was biking through a parking lot of the First Bank Texas when it collided with a passenger vehicle. Details surrounding the incident remain very unclear at this time.
Officers on scene said that only one person sustained injuries (considered minor) as a result of the accident. No citations have been issued as the investigation is still in progress. Any witness who has information about the case should get in contact with the Abilene Police Department.
