Arlington – Motorcycle Accident on Overhill Drive

The Arlington Police Department is currently investigating a traffic accident between a motorcycle and a pickup truck on Overhill Drive, Saturday evening.

Just after 6:00 p.m., a crash was reported at the intersection of Overhill Drive and East Abram Street. Based on a preliminary investigation, a motorcycle was heading east on East Abram Street when it collided with a pickup truck that was attempting to make a turn. The rider was thrown off his bike, leaving him seriously injured. He was pronounced deceased by emergency crews who arrived at the scene.

Fortunately, two occupants in the pickup truck were not injured. Its driver is cooperating with the investigators.

Police said that the rider was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

The crash remains under investigation.
