Local authorities have identified the victim of the fatal car accident on Alton Gore Boulevard, last December 29.
The tragic car accident, which involved two vehicles, took place at the 3400 block of Alton Gore Boulevard. According to police reports, an unidentified vehicle, for yet unknown reasons, crashed into another vehicle. The impact of the collision killed the passenger of the first vehicle. He was identified as Marcos Rodriguez.
The drivers of the vehicles involved were not identified.
How and why the accident occurred are yet to be determined by police officials.
The crash remains under investigation.
Our deepest sympathies to the victim of this unfortunate event. We hope that the Brownsville Police Department will do everything to bring those responsible to justice.
