Polk County- Woman dies following wreck on Highway 190

A tragic wreck involving two vehicles took the life of a Livingston woman on Highway 190, Tuesday.
At around 2:00 p.m., a 2002 Chevrolet was heading south on Walding Road when, yet unknown reasons, it failed to yield at an intersection. The Chevrolet then crashed into a 2014 Ford passenger vehicle.
The two drivers sustained injuries from the impact. The Ford driver was transported to CHI St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital in Livingston for treatment of her injuries. She was later identified as 31-year-old Stacy White from Goodrich.
The driver of the Chevrolet was taken to Conroe Regional Medical Center where she later died a few days after she was admitted into.
Investigation is underway.
