Houston – Pedestrian Crash on Edgebrook Drive Leaves 1 Dead, Another Injured

The Houston Police Department is investigating a pedestrian collision which caused the death of one person on Edgebrook Drive, early Friday morning.
At around 3:40 a.m., local officials were dispatched on Edgebrook near Gulf Freeway in response to a call reporting a crash. According to the report, two men were in front of a seafood restaurant when a vehicle, possibly a black GMC SUV or truck, struck them. One of the victims was pronounced deceased by emergency crews. He was only identified as a 29-year-old man.
The other pedestrian was rushed to an area hospital. Authorities said that he was listed in stable condition.
Whether the driver of the GMC stayed on the scene or not is yet to be confirmed.
Investigators are still working to learn more details about the incident. No arrests have been made as of this writing.
