Odessa – Felix Jaramillo Died in Fatal Car Accident on University Blvd

Odessa Police Department has identified the driver who died in a hit-and-run accident on University Boulevard, last Wednesday.

The fatality was named Felix Jaramillo.

According to initial reports, the incident took place at the intersection of University Boulevard near Bonham Avenue. Jaramillo was driving along the roadway when it collided with a Ford F-350 whose driver failed to yield the right of way to him. The driver of the Ford, identified as Jose Angel Ramirez-Rodriguez, fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim.

The force of the impact left Jaramillo with serious injuries. He was immediately taken to Medical Center Hospital where he was later sucucmbed to his injuries.
