Temple – Traffic Accident on Interstate 35 Leaves 1 Injured

At least one person was sent to a hospital following a car collision on Interstate 35 in Temple, Friday.
According to initial reports, local troopers responded to the scene of the crash on I-35. A speeding vehicle which led police in a chase collided with another car as it approaches Drive Time. The force of the impact was so great that it caused one of the vehicles to burst into flames.
Following the crash, two male occupants stepped out of the vehicle and attempted to escape the scene but were later arrested by officers.
An occupant inside the second vehicle, only identified as a woman, suffered from unknown injuries. She was then transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple for further care.
The crash remains under investigation.
