Alamo – Two-Vehicle Collision at Alamo Rd and Expressway 83 Intersection Leaves 2 Injured

Alamo law enforcement officials are conducting an investigation about a vehicle collision on Alamo Road which injured an elderly couple.
Initial investigation indicates that two vehicles were attempting to exit Alamo Road near Westbound Expressway 83 when, for yet unknown reasons, one vehicle crashed into a property, hitting a stationary van in the process.
Two occupants in said vehicle, identified only as an elderly couple, sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident. They were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The other vehicle sped off and left the scene.
No further details are available at this time.
Local authorities are still determining the factors that caused the car to crashed into the van. Anyone who witnessed the incident should contact the Alamo Police Department.
