Austin – Multi-Vehicle Collision on Oak Springs Dr Leaves 1 Dead

The Austin Police Department is conducting an investigation regarding an auto collision on Oak Springs Drive which involved multiple vehicles, Saturday, May 18.
According to initial reports, the incident took place at around 1:59 a.m. on Oak Springs Drive near Airport Boulevard. Details surrounding the crash were not immediately disclosed but it was confirmed that at least one person was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead shortly after he was admitted.
No other injuries were reported at this time.
APD officials have yet to determine the number of the vehicles involved and the cause of the accident. Anyone who has information about the incident is encouraged to get in contact with authorities.
