Victoria – Lita Villarreal Injured in Collision with Another Vehicle on North Main Street

Victoria law enforcement officials have released the name of the woman injured in two-car crash on North Main Street, May 9.
The victim was identified as Lita Villarreal, 26, of Victoria.
According to initial reports, a vehicle, driven by Blake Coles, 17, of Victoria, was heading north on 4300 North Main Street when it ignored a red light and crashed into another vehicle driven by Villareal. The force of the impact sent Villareal’s vehicle off the road where she crashed into a parked car.
Villareal suffered from various injuries including a brain injury. She was initially taken to DeTar Hospital Navarro but was later transferred to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio for further medical care. Her condition remains unknown at this time.
Meanwhile, Coles was cited for failure to stop for a red light.
The crash remains under investigation.
