Dallas – 1 Killed, 2 Children Injured in Chain-Reaction Crash on I-35E

A fatal car accident on Interstate 35E caused the death of one person and injured two children on Interstate 35 in Dallas, late Sunday evening.
At around 11:00 p.m., a traffic accident occurred on I-35E near Medical District Drive exit in the Stemmons Corridor area. According to initial reports, a GMC Terrain was traveling along the highway when it struck a Nissan Xterra that has become disabled in the center lane. A few moments after, a passing GMC Sierra then crashed into the back of the Nissan.
The Terrain driver was rushed to Parkland Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Two children, identified only as a 3-year-old and 10-year-old, suffered from minor injuries. They were sent to a hospital for further care.
The driver of the Sierra did not sustain any injury.
