Harris County – Pedestrian Collision on Thompson Road

Harris County law enforcement officials are investigating a car accident involving a pedestrian on Thompson Road, last Tuesday, according to a local news source.
At around 9:00 p.m., local troopers responded to a collision at the 7400 block of Thompson Road. Based on a preliminary investigation, a maroon Chevrolet van was seen heading south on Thompson when, for yet unknown reasons, it hit a man standing in the middle of the road.
The impact of the collision left the pedestrian with serious injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency crews.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Chevrolet did not sustain injuries from the force of the impact. Police said that he returned to the scene.
No arrests have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
