Austin – Victim of Rollover Crash on Highway 290 ID’d

The man who died in a fatal car accident on Highway 290 has been identified by the Austin Police Department, Tuesday morning.
The fatality was identified as 33-year-old Samuel Joseph Lowrance. He is a resident of Driftwood.
Local authorities did not release further details about the collision but it was confirmed that five more people suffered from various injuries–three of them were rushed to a hospital for treatment. One of them sustained critical injuries while the two others have serious injuries but were not considered life-threatening.
None of the injured victims was identified by police.
Investigators arrived at the scene to determine the circumstances leading up to the incident. The crash is still under investigation.
