Longview – Suspected Hit-and-run Crash on Green Street Kills 1

The Longview Police Department is conducting an investigation about a suspected hit-and-run collision on Green Street, Tuesday evening.
At around 10:21 p.m., local officials received a call reporting an unconscious man lying on the roadway. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found a man who appeared to have injuries that were considered life-threatening. He was immediately rushed to a local hospital where he was declared deceased. His identification has not been released at this time.

The roadway was temporarily closed from Nelson to Melton Street to give way for clearing and investigation.
