Houston – West Houston Crash Kills Motorcyclist

A motorcycle rider passed away after getting involved in a car accident on San Felipe Street, Houston Police Department said.
According to initial reports, the fatal collision took place at around 6 p.m. at the 7500 block of San Felipe Street near Voss Road. Police said that a Honda sedan was driving along the area when it ran over a motorcyclist. Details about the incident are yet to be released by local officials.
The motorcyclist, identified only as a woman, sustained injuries and was immediately taken to an area hospital for further care. However, she was pronounced dead at a later time.
The female driver of the Honda remained at the scene. She is cooperating with the investigators.
Houston police said the driver who followed the motorcyclist will be charged with manslaughter.
An investigation is still in progress.
