Alpine – Cindy Lou Wilmore Died in a Pedestria Accident on Holland Avenue

The pedestrian who died in a fatal car accident on Holland Avenue has been identified by Alpine Police Department, according to a local news source.

An initial investigation indicates that the wreck took place just after 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of Holland Avenue and Sixth Street. Police said that a pedestrian walked into traffic where she was struck by an undescribed car. The pedestrian, identified as Cindy Lou Wilmore, 70, was from San Marcos, Texas, sustained significant injuries from the crash. She was rushed to Big Bend Regional Medical Center where she was later pronounced deceased by medical personnel.

Authorities did not release information about the identification of the driver. It is unclear if he will be facing charges.

The crash remains under investigation.
