San Antonio-Pedestrian injured following crash on Thousand Oaks

A fatal car accident left one person hospitalized on Thousand Oaks near Broken Oak, police say.
According to reports, the car crash took place at around 9:00 p.m. A vehicle was traveling along the eastbound lanes of Thousand Oaks when it struck a pedestrian. The County Sheriff’s Department said the victim, who was identified only as a teenager, may have been walking down the street when the collision happened.

The force of impact left the teenager with injuries. She was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Her condition was not released.

Authorities were called onto the scene to investigate further.
