Corpus Christi – Jacob Salinas Killed Everhart Road Crash

The Nueces County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim who died in a fatal car accident on Everhart and Holly roads, early Sunday morning.
At around 3:00 a.m., a speeding vehicle was seen traveling along Everhart when it ran a red light and entered the intersection where it struck another car. The force of the impact caused the vehicle to go out of control and eventually hit a third vehicle.
A driver of one of the vehicles, identified as 21-year-old Jacob Salinas, was ejected from his car, sustaining blunt froce trauma to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported at this time.
Corpus Christi police are still investigating how the accident happened. They believe that speed and alcohol may have contributed to the crash.
