Leander — Pedestrian Accident on Crystal Falls Parkway

A car versus pedestrian collision took place on Crystal Falls Parkway injuring at least one person, Thursday morning.
At around 9:00 a.m., Leander responding officers were called to a crash at the intersection of Bagdad Road and Crystal Falls Parkway. According to initial reports, a vehicle traveling along the area, for yet unknown reasons, struck a pedestrian. Details surrounding the incident are not available at this time.
The pedestrian, identified only as a man in his 50s, suffered from serious injuries that were considered non-life threatening while the 20-year-old driver were critically hurt from the force of the impact. They were rushed to St. David’s Round Rock for medical treatment. Authorities said that the driver was listed in serious condition.
No charges have been filed as the investigation is still in progress.
