Waco – Hit-and-Run Crash on Waco Drive

The Waco Police Department is still looking for the driver who fled the scene following a crash on West Waco Drive, early Thursday morning.
At around 2:30 a.m., local officials received a call reporting a collision on the area of North 38th Street and Waco Drive. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found a motorcyclist who had been left injured in the street. A witness told the police that a Ford Explorer crashed into the motorcycle and fled the scene.
The impact of the collision injured the rider. The extent of his injuries was not immediately disclosed.
Police are in search of the suspect vehicle as well its driver whose identity remains unknown.
An investigation is still in progress.
