Two-vehicle collision blocks shoulder on IH-10 Katy in NW Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A two-vehicle wreck Monday morning blocked a left shoulder on Katy Freeway near Houston’s Washington Avenue Coalition/Memorial Park area, according to Houston Transtar.

The accident happened on the eastbound lanes at the West Loop North Freeway, or U.S. Highway 290.

Authorities have not released details on the circumstances behind the crash, but the scene was cleared from the roadway at 11:11 a.m.

As of this writing, no injuries have been confirmed.
