Kilgore- Pedestrian crash on North Henderson Boulevard

Authorities are investigating a pedestrian collision that sent one person to a hospital, Friday evening.
According to initial reports, the incident was reported at around 6 p.m. at the 200 block of North Henderson Boulevard near North Street. The victim was attempting to cross the intersection when he was struck by a vehicle heading north.
The pedestrian was hospitalized at Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center-Longview. His condition was not released. He was later identified as Michael Wallace, a 62-year-old resident of Long Branch.
The driver of the suspect vehicle stayed at the scene of the crash and is cooperating in the investigation. His identification is yet to be released.
The Kilgore police were called onto the scene to investigate further. The cause of the crash is yet to be determined as the investigation is underway.
