Man killed in two-vehicle collision on I-45 near Greater Third Ward

HOUSTON, TX — A man died Thursday evening after a two-vehicle accident on the Interstate 45 connector near Houston’s Greater Third Ward neighborhood, according to Houston Chronicle.

Houston police said the fatal crash happened near Cullen Boulevard at about 6:09 p.m.

No further information has been released regarding the parties involved or the circumstances behind the event, but authorities said the man died at the scene.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone else was seriously injured.

An investigation by the HPD Vehicular Crimes Division was underway.
