18-wheeler collision closes N Sam Houston Twy offramp in NW Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A two-vehicle accident involving a heavy truck Wednesday morning blocked an exit ramp on the North Sam Houston Tollway in northwest Houston, according to Houston Transtar.

The crash happened on the ramp connecting the westbound tollway to State Highway 249, or the Tomball Parkway. It was first reported by Houston Transtar at 1:52 p.m.

By 2:07 p.m., the scene had been cleared from the roadway.

Authorities have not released further details on the parties involved or any serious injuries.
