Victoria—Suzanne Frankson Injured on Houston Highway

The Victoria Police Department has released the identification of the victim who got injured in a pedestrian collision on Houston Highway, Friday night.
The pedestrian was identified as 50-year-old Suzanne Frankson. Her condition remains unknown at this time.
According to initial reports, the fatal pedestrian accident took place at the 3600 block of Houston Highway, Friday night. Frankson attempting to cross the highway when a passing Mercury Mountaineer that was traveling along the westbound lanes struck her. The impact of the collision seriously injured the victim.
Emergency crews transported Frankson to University Hospital in San Antonio for treatment. A medical personnel said that she sustained a head injury along with a shoulder, hip and neck fractures.
Authorities did not release any information about the driver of the hitting vehicle.
Investigation is underway.
