Multiple hospitalized after two-vehicle collision in east Houston

HOUSTON, TX — Several people were injured Sunday morning in a sideswipe collision that caused a car to flip multiple times near Houston’s Greater East End, reports ABC13.

Authorities said the accident occurred on Wayside Drive near Clinton Drive at around 8:00 a.m.

A preliminary investigation indicates two vehicles were traveling southbound when one vehicle was sideswiped by the other. The first vehicle rolled over several times and crashed onto the roadway below.

It was not immediately clear how many people were hurt, and no updates have been released on the extent of their injuries.

Both vehicles were severely damaged in the accident.
