Union Pacific employee hospitalized after train crash in east Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A Union Pacific worker was injured Tuesday afternoon in a train collision involving a semi-trailer truck in east Houston, reports ABC13.

The incident occurred in the 8600 block of Clinton Drive, near the city’s Clinton Park Tri-Community, at approximately 2:00 p.m.

Little information has been released at this time, but Union Pacific said an employee on board the train was injured and transported to a nearby hospital. The severity of their condition remains undisclosed.

An investigation into the cause of the incident.
