Six-vehicle wreck blocks multiple lanes on IH-45 N in north Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A multi-vehicle accident blocked three lanes and a shoulder on the North Freeway in the Greens Landing area of north Houston, reports Houston Transtar.

The collision took place on the southbound interstate north of West Road shortly before 12:29 p.m.

Details are limited at this time, but six vehicles were involved, blocking two center lanes, a left lane, and the left shoulder.

No further information has been released regarding the cause of the crash or any possible injuries.

At 1:25 p.m., Houston Transtar indicated the scene had been cleared with all lanes reopened to traffic.
