Sometimes, a car accident can cause serious injuries to multiple parties—and filing a claim can get complicated. For a claim to be successful, proofs of evidence and documents supporting such are needed to be submitted which will be evaluated by the insurer. Documents such as videos or photographs of the scene, police reports, and medical records are just some of the evidence you can use to file a valid claim.
If you are a passenger in a car involved in an accident, the first thing you should do is seek medical attention for yourself and anyone who needs it. After this, you’ll be asked to provide your contact information in case local authorities need your testimony. Generally, a passenger may have no liability—so the legal process is not necessarily stressful, as long as you follow the legal process. Speak with your personal injury attorney to learn how.
