Crash blocks multiple lanes on I-45 in SE Houston

HOUSTON, TX – An early afternoon crash on the Gulf Freeway delayed traffic in Southeast Houston.

According to Total Traffic Houston, the crash took place at about 1 p.m. on the outbound side of the freeway, near Scarsdale Boulevard.

The events leading up to the crash are not clear at this time. However, at least two lanes were shut down for some time afterward while crews worked to clear the scene.
