San Antonio— Saturday Crash on Culebra Road Killed 1

A motorcyclist died after getting hit by a sports utility vehicle on Culebra Road and Pipers Road, Saturday afternoon.
At around 2:00 p.m., a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling along Culebra Road when it collided with a white KIA Sorrento which was attempting to make a turn to Culebra from Pipers Creek. During the initial investigation, the female driver of the Kia told local officials that she went ahead turning because stopping would cause her to collide with oncoming two motorcycles.
One of the motorcycles was able to avoid the Kia while the other went out of control and slid under the SUV where it was run over by its left rear tire. The rider, identified as Yvette Solitaire, 44, was rushed to University Hospital where she was listed in critical condition. Unfortunately, an hour later, Solitaire had succumbed to her injuries.
No criminal charges have been filed as of the moment.
The investigation is still ongoing.
