62-year-old woman killed in hit-and-run crash on MLK Blvd.

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver following a suspected street race on Tuesday night.
According to a report by HPD, the crash occurred shortly before midnight within the 11300 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Witnesses told police two vehicles were racing in the southbound lanes of the roadway when one of them, Lincoln MKZ, fatally struck the pedestrian in the crosswalk.
The victim, a 62-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made as of this writing.
