Accident shuts down 2 lanes on I-45 in League City

LEAGUE CITY, TX – At least two lanes were shut down following a rush-hour crash on I-45 Thursday evening.

According to Total Traffic Houston, the collision took place shortly before 7 p.m. on the inbound side of I-45, just before the exit to Calder Drive.

It is unclear at this time if any injuries were sustained as an immediate result of the crash.

The two left lanes were blocked while crews worked to clear the scene.
