Major 5-vehicle crash shuts down I-610 at Woodridge

HOUSTON, TX – At least five vehicles were involved in a collision that shut down I-610 late Thursday afternoon.

According to Houston Transtar, the crash occurred shortly before 3:30 p.m. on the eastbound side of the South Loop at Woodridge Drive.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are not mentioned in the report.

Commuters were met with significant delays in the area throughout Thursday evening’s rush hour traffic.
