Amarillo- Man Injured After Getting Hit By Car near Tascosa High School

One person was hospitalized after getting struck by a vehicle on Wolfin Avenue near Tascosa High School Tuesday evening.
The Amarillo Police Department was dispatched at the southbound lanes of Wolfin at around 7:15 p.m. According to reports, a man was walking south when a vehicle heading west hit him. Emergency crews immediately transported the pedestrian to an area hospital for treatment. As per EMS, his injuries are considered life-threatening. He was not publicly identified.
Police did not release any information regarding the type of vehicle involved or if the driver stayed at the scene.
